Cells derived from leukopaks
Cells Derived from Leukopaks for Research and Cell Therapy
PBMCs, T cells, NK cells, B cells, monocytes, and disease-state products isolated from OrganaBio leukopak collections. Use this catalog when you need a defined cell population rather than the whole leukopak.
Not sure where to start
Three questions that get you to the right one
- Do you know exactly which cell type you need?
If yes, go straight to that cell type below. If no, order PBMCs, which is the general mix most protocols start from. - Will you use it within a day or two of it arriving?
If yes, fresh. If it needs to wait, or you want to run it in batches, cryopreserved. - Does your study need cells from someone who has the disease?
If yes, you want the disease-state donor material rather than healthy donors.
Still not obvious? Say what you are trying to do in plain words and we will tell you which one fits, or tell you if none of them do.
The whole collection, unseparated
A leukopak is one bag of white blood cells collected from a single donor. Nothing has been separated out yet, so you decide what to pull from it.
One cell type, already separated
If you only need one kind of cell, we can separate it for you so you do not have to spend a day at the bench doing it.
PBMCsThe general mix of immune cells, the most commonly ordered format. The usual starting point when a protocol just says “PBMCs”.
T cellsCD3+ T cells, separated without sticking anything to them. For CAR-T, TCR-T, activation and expansion work.
NK cellsCD56+ natural killer cells.For immuno-oncology and cell-killing assays.
B cellsCD19+ B cells.For antibody discovery and B-cell biology.
MonocytesCD14+ monocytes. For growing macrophages or dendritic cells.
Donors who actually have the disease
Healthy donors only tell you so much. These come from donors with a documented diagnosis, so the cells carry the disease biology you are studying. All are supplied for research use.
Disease-state PBMCs, all indicationsThe full programme, spanning 24 autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.Start here if your indication is not listed separately below.
Whole disease-state leukopaksThe unseparated bag from a donor with the condition, currently focused on lupus. When you want to do your own isolation from patient material.
Rheumatoid arthritis PBMCsPBMCs from donors with confirmed RA.Research use.
Multiple sclerosis PBMCsPBMCs from donors with confirmed MS.Research use.
Type 1 diabetes PBMCsPBMCs from donors with confirmed T1D.Research use.
Crohn’s disease PBMCsPBMCs from donors with confirmed Crohn’s.Research use.
Ulcerative colitis PBMCsPBMCs from donors with confirmed UC.Research use.
Plasma and serum from the same donors
Blood is not only cells. If your assay measures something dissolved in the blood rather than the cells themselves, you want these. They can be matched to the same donor as the cells above.
True of everything on this page
- Every unit comes from a single donor, never pooled, so your results trace back to one person.
- Donors are screened and consented, and the paperwork comes with the order.
- Collection happens at OrganaBio’s own site, so we control the timing rather than waiting on a third party.
- Research and cGMP grades are both available, and we will tell you which one your work actually needs.

You do not need to know the product name. Describe the experiment or the process step and the scientific team will tell you what fits, what it costs you in time, and whether we are the right supplier for it.
